Summary

For my final design, I made a model because the computer lab was not available forautocad. My design took advantage of the existing cafeteria plan swapping the food prep and service areas so I could take advantage of the outside walls for solar gain and natural view. I provided a quiet area forstudy and eat, added a wrap around solar dining aread part with booths for sound dampening and part with tables for socializing. I kept the cost to a minimum and took advantage of existing boiler heat to add radiant floor heat. I believe this design takes the best advantage of the current space andsite while adding in environmentally friendly atmosphere and providing eating areas to meet the needs of all students. Thank you!
