The living room and dining room are both very open spaces in the house. This makes the transition from the kitchen to the dining room to the living room much smoother. The dining room seats a family of four, while the living room can comfortably seat 5 people. This area would be great for socializing as the floor plan is very open and people can interact from the kitchen to the dining room or living room. The furniture used in these spaces are all replicas of furniture sold at IKEA which is a very affordable furniture store accessible to people all around the world. I also added a TV on in the living room because although this is affordable housing, the median household income in Salt Lake City is quite high compared to most places in the US. This being said, I would imagine that quite a few of the households would be able to afford a small TV and therefore thought it was suitable to add one in the model.
